In the name of "Good Agriculture Practices" in Turkey which is accepted all over the world, our production is certified in accordance with the "GLOBALGAP" standard in Europe. We made our legal application on 02.12.2010.
Where did good agricultural practices (GLOBALGAP) come from?
The use of dense fertilizers and medicines to increase productivity in agriculture has had negative consequences such as excessive irrigation, use of soil with single crop design without rotation, contamination and depletion of natural resources such as soil and water. In addition to these drawbacks, good agricultural practices have emerged to overcome the disadvantages of the proliferation of harmful chemical residues for human and animal health in products. Good Agricultural Practices (GLOBALGAP) The Integrated Farm Safety Standard is based on the fact that the plant is involved in the production process of the animal before the seed planting (origin and seed control points) before the planting of the plant to the whole plant and the whole unprocessed product Process. Although the ITU (GLOBALGAP) document is an application of Western European and European Union (EU) member countries such as Germany, Austria, France, Holland, England and Italy, this practice also affects countries like Turkey which have commercial relations with the EU. With the help of ITU (GLOBALGAP), it also aims to reduce the use of chemicals in agriculture within a certain program, to minimize the applications damaging to soil and environment, to increase productivity and thus to ensure the sustainability of agriculture.
Within this scope, ITU (GLOBALGAP) document;
- The product does not contain chemical, microbiological and physical residues harmful to human health,
- Produced without polluting the environment and harming the natural balance,
- The fact that people and other living things are not adversely affected during the production, the agricultural legislation of the country where the consumer is located during the production, and the documenting that the agricultural legislation of the country where the crop is grown has been documented.
